From the Governors...

There are so many highlights in this past year, it is impossible to single out any one as the best, but I'll just list a few to give a flavour of the year. Most recently, we celebrated a Harvest Festival. Our families brought in lots of food which is going to be distributed amongst the homeless in Manchester.
One of the highlights this year for me was witnessing how staff are able to make the curriculum so enjoyable, and include all of us in the fun as well. The Maths week of special events and activities brought pupils, parents, staff and governors together for a great time. The Science day was also a similar experience.
In a small school as ours is, it takes a dedicated staff, willing to put in extra energy and care to create the friendly atmosphere and high standards we enjoy. We have such a great staff here at Peel Hall Primary and we thank you all, and thank Mr Hallam and Mrs Brownlee-Hussain who hold it all together for us.

It is great to see the completion of the Key Stage Two corridor and the refurbishment of the boys toilets, as well as better access for those who are disabled and many other recent improvements in our facilities which make this a pleasant environment for learning.
At Peel Hall there is a learning culture which relates to everyone within school. As a result of continued professional development Miss Whittle gained promotion and moved to another school as an Assistant Headteacher. We wish her all the best in the future.

We also said "Goodbye" to Mrs willett this Summer who took early retirement. She will be missed greatly by the children and the staff, but we are sure she will keep in touch.
